Prolific children's author and comedian David Walliams has been dropped by his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the company commented: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was reached following an investigation into claims about questionable actions directed at female individuals.
The firm has not elaborated on the motivations for this action, noting: "We refrain from speaking about private personnel issues."
